The consultation process
At Empowered Action Counseling and Consulting, our approach centers on tailoring services to meet the specific needs of your institution. Whether your requirements are narrowly focused, such as leadership coaching, or encompass a broader scope like a comprehensive review of campus mental health needs and services, we begin every engagement with an initial meeting. This meeting serves to establish a collaborative relationship and allows us to gather an overview of the situation or challenge you are facing.
If both parties agree that we can support your institution, we proceed to develop a customized scope of work. This document outlines the parameters of the engagement and ensures alignment of goals and expectations. As part of our assessment phase, we involve relevant stakeholders in the information-gathering process to ensure that data and perspectives are comprehensive and representative.
Following the assessment, we provide a data-informed action plan designed to enhance your institution’s policies, programs, and resources. If the scope of work includes it, the consultant may also participate in the evaluation of outcomes for any new initiatives implemented because of the action plan.
The pricing and duration of the engagement are determined by the complexity and breadth of the scope of work. Additionally, these factors may vary depending on whether the consultation is conducted onsite or virtually.
